Saturday, October 14, 2023 - Pop & pour and this needs no decanting. Many say this is better than Purple Angel (which I have yet to try).

Deep purple color and muted aromas of dark berries, smoke and oak. Initial sips yielded mixed dark berries, vanilla and cigar box. This opened up with tertiary notes of pepper, leather and stewed plum. Lengthy finish.

Med+/full bodied, meaty tannins, dry but perky, and exciting.

This is a more complex wine that is very well crafted. I will certainly be sipping this again and exploring more Chilean wine
