Sunday, October 25, 2015 - A very nice surprise after a poor showing in November 2013. Bright and lively straw yellow, lively mousse of pin-prick bubbles; intense nose with a lovely complexity (crème patissière, fresh mushroom, magnolia, flat-leaf parsley) and good depth and freshness; the palate is almost sweet on the attack, rounded but lively, quite weighty, seamless, fruit of ripe citrus, hint of acacia, with tertiary flavours starting to emerge (coffee, candied nuts); good length.
