Tuesday, March 12, 2024 - Cedar, petrichor, mint, red and black cherry, some cassis and dark fruit on the nose. In the mouth, high acid but really nice, discreet tannins. Juicy yet airy mouthfeel.
Creamy oak (unintegrated?), cigar box/espresso. Subtle nuances of spices, red and black fruit. Lacks a long finish, but some glimpses of a mineral thread and truffle. Very austere and not ready to drink.
Lagrange is my benchmark wine and this falls under it.
