88 Points

Wednesday, April 6, 2016 - Monthly Tasting Group EEE #049; Bordeaux: Pessac-Léognan. (@ My place): The bouquet is still a bit locked, but shows dark berries, cedar and some bell pepper. On the palate a somewhat sweet start with ripe dark forest fruits, caramel, beautiful oak and acidity and round tannin. This wine is in its young maturity stage now and showing nicely. Will be nice until the end of the decade at least. 88 - 89 for this evening, but I will put 88 in CT as my "official" score.
