Monday, March 25, 2024 - Generously brought over by Z. Tasted blind. Drank in Gabriel Standart.
Appearance is clear, medium intensity, ruby colour. Legs.
Nose is clean, medium+ intensity, with aromas of red licorice, perfumey red flowers, deep red cherries, darker red cherries, light charred oak, brown stems. Youthful.
On the palate, dry, high acidity, medium alcohol (13.3%), medium+ tannins, medium+ body. Medium+ flavour intensirty, with flavours of sweet red licorice, hint of cola, deep red cherries, nicely integrated lightly charred oak. Long finish with stemmy spices.
Very good quality. Such an enjoyable drink. Wow nose. Still young and will last a few years well, but why wait.
