Saturday, May 27, 2023 - Tasted at Gaja masterclass conducted by Mr.Giovanni Gaja himself at the Wine Merchant Langsuan, Bangkok. The 2019 Gaja Barbaresco has expressed beautiful delicacy, complex aromas of rose, orange peel, hibiscus, lavender and licorice. It has an exquisite balance, smooth texture, medium-bodied, feminine in style, fine-grained tannins and a lovely finish. Finesse should represent best for this wine, definitely lots of upside potential, still infant but already offers pleasure today yet should integrate better given a few more years.
