Thursday, February 2, 2017 - Bordeaux dinner at Ripple with live rendition of the Star Spangled Banner (Ripple Restaurant in DC): Fully mature slightly shy nose displaying soft red fruit, cherry, strawberry, plum, lead pencil, cedar and a hint of ash. Fully integrated palate, soft red fruit driven palate impression, silky, soft and round and a medium to long finish. Very charming claret that is drinking beautifully. In slow decline, need to be drunk up.
