Sunday, January 28, 2018 - Bordeaux and Peking Duck (Q by Peter Chang - Bethesda, Maryland): Fully mature soft yet expressive nose displaying subtle red fruit, strawberry, plum, strong mint, cedar, thyme and slightly metallic mineral. Fully integrated palate, medium concentration, subtle red fruit, silky, soft and round, subtle acidity, good mineral presence and a medium to long subtle red fruit driven finish. We agree that the yield must have been high and the grapes were not uniformly ripe. Nevertheless, it is a classic claret that is very enjoyable. However, this needs to be drunk up.
