Thursday, June 6, 2013 - 2002 1er Cru Red Burgundy Tasting (Gary's Place, Hudson, WI): Medium red color. PNP, drank 1 glass over an hour. This had a fairly light nose, pomegranate, mineral, spiced fruit cake, some damp earth. The palate shows cherry, spice, modest tannins, light body, red raspberry. Nice acids. This was pretty pleasant on the whole. 89+pts.
