Monday, December 1, 2008 - Opened this Thanksgiving evening (see previous tasting note). A full glass remained in the bottle with a rubber cork (exposed to air in bottle), which I poured & tasted last night. Amazing how full this wine is even after 72 hours. Still has gobs of black fruit & oak, but much more drinkable. Needs more time in the botttle& I hope some of that alcohol burns off. I'm amazed at the level of extraction they get out of their grapes. This wine does not have the level of finance & elegance (although still a BIG wine) as their top shelf Cab offering.
