90 Points

Wednesday, July 15, 2015 - Big powerful nose, packed with lush black fruits and vanilla toast. Velvety smooth and full of sweet ripe black cherry fruit. Maybe a touch soft, there is a bit of spicy tannin in there. Good depth of flavour on the palate with layers of dark chocolate, ground coffee, a little leathery meaty note and vanilla lining the long finish. A big lush style, but very nice and very easy drinking. Hugely popular with the guests.
