Perfectly harmonious palate, extremely silky, slightly lean, subtle sweet slightly dry red fruits, strong presence of mineral a la lead pencil, soft and warm, fully resolved tannins and seamless finish with a hint of cedar as the end note. This is a beautiful claret that is quite soft and warm at this stage. Quite Burgundian but strong presence of lead pencil and cedar clearly tell the origin. I would love to share a bottle with a friend. It provides a nice contrast to the 61 Latour which is a tour de force.
