Saturday, August 12, 2023 - Mostly red fruit of fresh strawberry, whipped cream, herbal notes of dried leaves and black pepper. Juicy, well-balanced palate with finely grained tannin and nice acidity. Powerful and full-bodied and juice. Compared to the few older vintages I’ve tasted so far (2001, 2013) this felt lighter and fresher in terms of fruit profile.
