With Perrin bottling their Rasteau and Vinsorbe into seperate bottlings, I was wondering what this plain 'ole Villages desingate would be like. Well it be good. Much more concentration of fruit then the reserve, with a fennel/rasberry/light black pepper thing going on. Medium bodied, with very little tannins. Just a really nice everday quaffer that runs about $15. Great value, and this is a stand up 88, and could probably slide into 89.
