This was a highly acidic and tannic wine and while it paired nicely with grilled portobellos and burgers and improved with time, it was a harsh wine with sharp edges that was nowhere near as enjoyable as the '05 Serradenari we drank yesterday (no TN on that one - sorry). It was not a bad wine, just not really good. I doubt it will improve with age. Gift now. (4+11+16+6)
