Sunday, October 1, 2023 - Light gold, showing some age which it should at 21 years old. Initially quite closed. Beautiful mouthfeel but seemed a bit tight at first. After an hour, got a beautiful hazelnut, honeycomb nose, palate still lovely and fresh and just got better and better as the evening went on. Great length and poise. Grand vin indeed!
