Likes this wine:

Friday, August 4, 2023 - In the glass, the wine is straw yellow. Did not decant this, I simply opened it and let it breathe in the bottle as I was drinking it. Note was taken after a few hours of the wine being open. Not a fan of typical Jura wine, I must admit This to me, is more like a lean Meursault than a typical Jura which probably explains why I like it so much. Slight oxidative notes, but not nearly as much as I would expect. On the nose, honey, salinity, red ripe apples, some pear, and a good amount of lemon. On the palate more of the same, sea spray salinity (not Chablis-like necessarily, just like being at the beach), honey, ripe red apples, pear, an herbaceousness that I can’t quite pinpoint, and some lemon. Medium plus length. Medium plus acidity. Overall, I really really like this wine, though I think it would benefit from a few more years in the cellar, to gain a bit more complexity and weight.
