Saturday, November 18, 2023 - Tasted at the winery. Previously tasted from bottle 5 months ago and the wine remains in a very good spot. Apple, pear and lemon on the nose which seemed a bit more expressive than my prior bottle. Medium bodied with white orchard fruit notes (especially apple and pear) which has opened up just a touch as compared to my prior bottle. The defining characteristic of this wine is the very clean and very well-defined fashion that it expresses its fruit, especially through the middle. Citrus and other tart qualities provide the structure on the back. Balanced and in a very good spot for current drinking. Next bottle (after this weekend) will be June/July 2024.
