89 Points

Sunday, November 30, 2008 - Another CT tasting note nearly matches my impressions of this wine in that it is very easy to drink and enjoy but it is just lacking a bit of earthiness that would go well with this lighter, Burgundy styled wine. I don't see the rather low acidity of this wine as a flaw, although it not be able to stand up to as wide of a range of foods as some other similar wines. Professional reviews on this wine are all over the place with 91 points from IWC and 82 from WS. I personally think that James Laube (WS) must have had the flu when he rated this wine (and just about everything else he rates lately) as this is nowhere near as bad as what his score implies.
