Thursday, September 14, 2023 - France Trip: Paris, Champagne, Burgundy; 9/3/2023-9/17/2023 (Paris, Champagne, Burgundy): Medium red color. Drank a small glass at Domaine Faiveley. The nose is tight, subtle earth notes, red fruits. The palate has deep red fruits; cherry, currants, raspberry, deep and layered, very spicy, wood, touch of vanilla, round tannins, silky and soft texture. Tasty. Lacking a bit in the mid palate at the moment. 92-94pts.
