Tuesday, May 23, 2023 - Montalcino trip, wine tasting at Enoteca di Piazza. Light hint of brown and purple color, medium fruit nose. First Brunello taste dry dark fruits - cherries, currants, and into a medium earthy finish herbs, peppers, hint of spice, Medium linger. Well structured and the tannins and rhythm of an older wine. Head and shoulders above the rest.
