Wednesday, December 27, 2023 - Only 12.5%, but quite dark and ripe-feeling fruit. Intense on the attack, polished purple fruit, hints of Willamette undergrowth. Low to moderate tannin, a little coarse. Lots and lots of VA, a bit much for me personally, and I think it's the real driver of the energy and balance here. A fun wine all the same.
