Friday, January 7, 2022 - Talk about value for money... It took about 45 minutes to open up. It started with a tightness with acidity but now it's tannins, rich drinking, classic Sangiovese with elegance. I mean, you can't get a better table wine that has the balls to be punching up towards its Brunello counterpart.

In fact, having had both the Brunello by Casanova di Neri of the 2016 vintage and the Irrosso, I would prefer to drink the Irrosso rn. The Brunello needs 10 years.

Buy em' and drink em'!
