Thursday, January 20, 2022 - Part of a small old Bordeaux line-up pebbles. Good amount of mineral notes such as graphite. Fruit mostly blueberry with some dark cherry in the mix. Adding a lot of cigar box aromas over time, also espresso and black coffee. Caramel and a pinch of sweet spice add sexiness. Then jumping back to fresh herbs. Versatility and complexity are off the charts. Rich with a muscular build, firm tannic structure but seamlessly integrated. Dense, concentrated and opulent, but with so much finesse and elegance that in the blind tasting setting the group guessed right bank.
