Sunday, May 5, 2013 - Five years ago I gave a 98 point rating to the 1990 Jaboulet, holding back on an even higher score because I thought I might taste a better wine at some point in my life. This is certainly that wine! A stunning wine today, so much so that it is hard to imagine it could possibly get better. But it might, as the structure is there for long-term aging. Many existing notes capture the profile of this wine quite well. Decanted for only an hour and then poured through a vinturi.
