Saturday, October 7, 2023 - Medium-dark garnet in color. Full, forward & aromatic nose of ripe fruit aromas of cherries, blueberries & plums with overtones of spices, floral & earthy/dusty notes, minerals, herbs & a touch of oak/vanilla in the background. Medium bodied with a very good concentration of well balanced & smooth textured, ripe fruit flavors of cherries, blueberries & plums with spices, minerals, herbs, cola & a hint of oak/vanilla. Lingering finish. Drinks well at present although it does have potential for further development with additional aging.
