Monday, January 22, 2024 - Dark reddish garnet in color, bordering on opaque. Full, forward & attractive nose of ripe fruit aromas of blueberries, cherries & mulberries with overtones of earthy/dusty & floral notes of violets, herbs, spices & minerals. Medium bodied with a very good concentration of well balanced & smooth textured, ripe fruit flavors of cherries, blackberries & plums, spices & minerals. Lingering finish. Drinks quite well at present with decanting & extended airing but should develop further with additional aging.
