Wednesday, March 11, 2009 - Dark ruby with violet reflections. The nose offers a typical Bourgougne character and some degree of complexity. Spirit-soaked cherries and animal notes donate the wine a good aromatic balance. At the background are spices and subdued roasting hints. On the palate is light-bodied but flavour packed, still cherry at the forefront. Well balanced now but could keep a couple of years. Especially good with food (as any wine). Overall for CHF16 I found this very good value.
