Saturday, October 21, 2023 - Medium golden yellow in color. Full, forward & fragrant nose of ripe fruit aromas of apples, pears, citrus notes of lemons/limes & grapefruit with overtones of floral notes of honeysuckle & minerals, stony, toasty oak & a hint of vanilla. Medium bodied with a very good concentration of well balanced & smooth textured, ripe fruit flavors of apples, pears & lemons/limes with minerals, flinty, stony, toasty oak & a touch of vanilla. Long lingering finish. Drinks quite well at present with extended airing but needs additional time to fully develop at which time the score should be higher (94+).
