Monday, January 2, 2012 - KW Tasting Group New Years Eve Dinner (Greg's House): Much darker in colour than the NV Marc Hebrart that preceded it, this offered up a nose of coffee, roasted hazelnuts, lemon zest, bruised green apple and burnt sugar. On the palate, butterscotch, lemon/lime, green apple, roasted mixed nuts. Still nicely structured here, with great acidity and mouth feel. Finish is of medium length.
