Thursday, September 26, 2019 - Advanced but not oxidized. The effervescence was muted at best and faded quickly, but there were nice caramel, brioche and citrus notes beneath the almond, marzipan and ginger notes that betrayed the wine's age. Good persistence. A fascinating bottle.
