Likes this wine:

Saturday, April 27, 2024 - Initially tight with overpowering heavy ash/smoke, this took a good 30 minutes to settle down and harmonize. Rather than classic cab franc green pepper, the savory came in the form of lead pencil, black olives, and cigar box. Blown away by the depth and structure for the price point.

This was my first Les Picasses. Whereas Raffault's Barnabes is a pleasant bistro-style wine, this is way more serious and ageworthy, and I would have expected the price gap between the two to be greater.
