Sunday, January 21, 2024 - This is a light straw colored wine. It has a significant nose of pear and tropical fruits. It was in a very reductive state out of the bottle, and it improved significantly with several hours of air and some warming. This is a complex wine on the palate with tropical fruits, pineapple, vanilla, and some salinity. It has a soft consistency with ample body. The finish is fresh and generous. I've bought numerous vintages of this wine over the last 15 years, and it's a very consistent wine year after year. This is a distinct chardonnay that's very well made.
