I didn’t believe it till I tasted it. Blinded you would think Le Montrachet. Green golden straw colored. Perfect coloring. Medium to full bodied and RICH. Stone fruits, oily white flowers and rocky minerality on the nose. Acacia, sweet white peach and flint on the palate. OMG this wine is soooo good. The only limiting factor for 97-98 for me was a little bit acidic and thin on the finish. But that’s just me. Smarter people than me ranked this 98+ and i totally get it. Highly recommended. What a treat. Cheers
This is a light straw colored wine. It has a significant nose of pear and tropical fruits. It was in a very reductive state out of the bottle, and it improved significantly with several hours of air and some warming. This is a complex wine on the palate with tropical fruits, pineapple, vanilla, and some salinity. It has a soft consistency with ample body. The finish is fresh and generous. I've bought numerous vintages of this wine over the last 15 years, and it's a very consistent wine year after year. This is a distinct chardonnay that's very well made.

Bursting with sweet fruits, especially green apple. Not much tannin. Standard nose for a Chardonnay. Buttery and Oakey. Tastes slightly more alcoholic than other chards, but that is offset by stronger flavors of fruit

Quick notes during restaurant meal - served in 375ml carafe. Medium light gold colour in the glass. Apple pear cream on the nose. Delightful palate of lemon, peach and cream. Lovely oak finish with acidity cutting through. This wine has finesse structure and great aging potential.

Australian and new Zealand tasting (Copenhagen): Tasted 10 different cuvees from Leeuwin Estate and Felton Road.
This wine: High acidity, high intensity and long finish. Typical high quality chardonnay. No further notes taken. 93+

During a walkabout tasting, so only brief impressions. Very good, Meursault style with flinty aromas combined with lemon curd and oak spice.
