Thursday, February 15, 2024 - Note is for 2nd half of the bottle, two days after opening. Dark crimson color. Cherry as well as dark fruit on the palate. Not getting the tobacco or leather that others have. Still somewhat tannic, to be expected at less than five years, but highly drinkable, and good with snacks, in this case smoked Gouda from the cheese board. Lingering finish is attractive and mouth coating.
