Likes this wine:

Sunday, June 7, 2015 - Bloody Coravin ran out of gas just as I was about to tap this so I decided to open it instead. Decanted about 30 minutes before consumption. Profound. Aromas of red currants and berries, biscuit, slight mushroom, some tarragon and herbs here as well. Also sweet spice and leather with very slight cedary elements. In the mouth it's quite subdued but carries preposterously long on the finish bearing red fruits, leather and biscuit...there was also a citric element - almost grapefruit, oddly enough and, again, an anise quality. The tannins are completely resolved - just the hint of some burring on the mid-palate. Over time the wine gained a little weight and considerable complexity. Complete. Balanced. Lovely.
