While it delivers precise flavors of cloves, licorice, allspice and vanilla/cherry-vanilla, the body is much leaner than the Durell or the Clos Pepe. It delivers little other than a short, lean mouthfeel with no real finish. The tannins are fully resolved. Drink now. As with many of Brian’s Pinots, however, this is rather linear. 14.1% alc. With duck cassoulet and the Schreibers and Fords. Recommended.
