1973 Château Duhart-Milon

Community Tasting Note

87 Points

Friday, July 24, 1987 - Dark red brown. Expressive bouquet with cassis, oak, some liquorice and alcohol. Medium bodied and good acidity. There is some liquorice and oak in the taste. It has a long creamy aftertaste. Completely mature wine which just has enough power left. Drink within a year from now. The complexity is there, which explains the score for me.

4/13/2014 8:00:00 AM - Tasting this wine now in 2014, it is so interesting to read what you wrote about it then in 1987. I was still a kid back then!
I like reading your tasting notes by the way. Keep up the good work. Cheers!
