Wednesday, July 12, 2023 - Langton's Bordeaux En Primeur 2022 tasting (Langham Hotel, Kent Street, Sydney): Plums earth, sweet spice, a little almost saline notes, cream, blackcurrant and mint in the background. Interesting nose and a bit of an outliner so far. Savoury with quite bitter tannins on the palate which, unfortunately, dominates proceedings. The nose shows promise though so time should help.
