Hence, one cold bottle, available for dinner on New Year's Day. We shared with Donna's terrific spinach pesto and papardelle; while it's a bit tough to appreciate the finer points through all the garlic in the pesto (hence the loss of a point since my last tasting; the fault lies not in our wine, but in ourselves), this is still darned good stuff, and a terrific value. We also gave away a bottle for a friend's birthday; I'm sure it will be as popular with her, as it is with us.
