Wednesday, December 25, 2013 - Another good showing by this ever reliable champagne. Nose of toffee, lemon custard, marzipan, green apple, and lime juice. Palate balances maturity, richness, acid, and dosage well. Very mouthfilling with abundant mousse, repeating mature toffee notes and containing lots of malic acid with enough dosage to counter balance. Finish is moderate and is pleasing with or without food. Love this champagne.
