Friday, January 4, 2008 - With fried chicken, brown rice and broccoli. This was a bottle that we chilled for New Year's, but didn't stay up long enough to drink. I continue to be impressed by the quality of this reasonably-priced French Champagne. It's consistently between "excellent" and "outstanding" (the latter getting the nod this evening); marvelous notes of butterscotch and nuts, delightful mousse, just wonderful. A celebration all by itself.
