Friday, December 15, 2023 - Very Piemontese nose. The medium palate is complex and captivating, red cherries, wild strawberries, blood orange and a lovely floral lift. Fermentation and maceration in steel tanks, this does not see wood. Gum drying fruit tannins which accentuates juiciness of the fruit. Fresh acidity and medium finish. This is excellent and drinks beautifully now. The self anointed hip inner circle have already found Elio Sandri, Casina Fontana and Lalu so they are sold out in many places. Is this the next in line? Maybe, so one might consider sourcing wines of this producer while it is still possible.
