This is exactly what makes French wines of its ilk so irreplaceable (save for the same realm derived) and special, so adapted to my needs as a drinker of wine. What a great bouquet. The transition to the palate is a pleasure. The tannins are spot on integrated. The alcohol effect transcended by the "I don't know what" essence of fermented grapes, making this something infinitely different from a glass of grape juice mixed with 2 shots of vodka. It's been a while since I've smiled just from the pleasure of a quaff of great wine.
