Monday, June 2, 2008 - KICK in the groin! This wine has an unreal bouquet of pickles, wet stones, tart cherries, moss, lead, huge raw beef and more. This is still tannic and could lay down for a few years as the tannins still prevail in the mouth. The palate is slightly chalky, with flavors of sour tobacco, some licorice, and a lot of minerality. Has a medium to long peppery finish. This wine is a great value as it can go for 5-8 years, IMHO it will integrate even more. Lots of charm.
