Friday, June 15, 2012 - Ruby red, tought of brown with no core. Smell is generous, fruity with herbs, some spices and lots of cherry and oak. On the palate it is heady , still tannic with lots of minerals, cherry, liqourice and oak. I like tannic in this wine, but there's not enough fruit to balance the minerals. Still it went wounderful with BBQ.
