Wednesday, October 7, 2009 - Big syrah with ripe blackberry and currant up front. Which stubornly gives way to licorice, lavender, roasted herbs and brown spice. Lowish acidity but ampe fine grained tannins should provide for good ageability. Refreshing mineral upwheling on the finish. Drink now-2018. 89+ pts.
