Sunday, April 18, 2010 - Deep teeth staining purple. Light sediment. Popped and poured which turned out to not be a good idea. Took 1 hour for tar and burnt rubber notes to evaporate. Fruit showing nicely in balance after that. But an undercurrent of tar persisted the rest of day 1. Day 2 showed more improvement. Maybe an off bottle - big decant next time.
