Friday, June 3, 2011 - Double decanted for two hours. Opaque and a violet rim. A staunch nose of fig, Licorice, dark berry, river rocks and a little camphor. Round and plush on the palate, with tannins that have a polished side, along with grip. Without the serious decant, this would still be tight. A long and savory finish. Drink 2013 - 2020.
