Saturday, May 3, 2008 - Incredibly dark purple. Had this with a hamburger and it was so teeth staining that the bun was stained after taking a bite. Soaring nose of violets and blueberry. On the palate, carries the nearly 16% alc. astoundingly well. In the mouth, blueberries and long finish. Great balance. The wine went down so quick, I didn't have time to take a more detailed note. This could garner a point or two more, with age, but drinking very well right now.
